ABOUT 'ON YOUR MARQUES'
The 'On Your Marques' Model Car Museum, situated in the village of Mumby on the East Coast of Lincolnshire.
It is on the A52 half way between Skegness and Mablethorpe. Opened in 2003, we have had many thousands of visitors, car and motorcycle clubs over the 18 years. As well as the some 6,500 models on display each season, the museum also hosts a café and a 50 metre 4-Lane Scalextric circuit, which provides fun for all the family.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Having moved to Lincolnshire from London where Jane and I had lived and worked for 14 years, I have devoted the past 30 years of my life to not only building and starting the 'On Your Marques Model Car Collection', but keeping the business thriving to the satisfaction of many thousands of customers every year.
Having come up the idea, and even the name 'On Your Marques', in October 1991 ...
and discovering the derelict buildings, originally called 'Manor Farm', which was the 21st property we viewed, we could see the potential even then. You can see the pictures in the museum of it's original state.

We took possession of the property in 3 acres of land in June 1992 and set about building a home and then the museum. We finally opened the business to the public on April 1st in 2003.
My wife Jane and I ran it together for almost 10 years, however Jane sadly passed away mid-season in 2012.
To continue without Jane has been really hard, but she would want me to carry on and will do it long as
I possibly can.
